The Opportunity
We are seeking a Manager or Senior Manager based in Australia to lead our global Security Questionnaire Team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing a distributed team of Security Questionnaire Analysts who deliver high-quality, timely responses to client security questionnaires. You’ll serve as both a team leader and project manager—ensuring operational efficiency, strong client onboarding, and successful delivery across multiple engagements.
This is a remote role with global responsibility. While the position is based in Australia, you’ll work closely with colleagues and clients around the world, collaborating across time zones and functions to deliver an exceptional client experience.
What You Will Do
- Lead and Mentor: Manage and support a globally distributed team of Security Questionnaire Analysts. Provide regular feedback, coaching, and support to ensure excellence.
- Ensure Quality: Review questionnaire responses for accuracy, clarity, and alignment with client and compliance requirements.
- Drive Operational Efficiency: Oversee task prioritization and team workflow to ensure timely delivery without sacrificing quality.
- Onboard and Train: Support the onboarding of new team members and lead internal training initiatives to maintain high performance and consistency.
- Manage Client Onboarding: Act as the main point of contact for new questionnaire clients, assigning projects and ensuring a smooth transition into the service.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with leadership on hiring, capacity planning, and team resourcing. Align questionnaire processes with Workstreet’s security and compliance standards.
- Project Management: Set project milestones, track progress, and communicate effectively with stakeholders, escalating risks when necessary.
Who You Are
- 3–5+ years of experience working in cybersecurity, compliance, technical writing, or client-facing technical roles
- Proven experience managing or leading a team
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with high attention to detail
- Passion for mentorship and helping others improve through feedback and guidance
- Familiarity with security compliance standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, etc., is a strong plus
- Comfortable working across time zones and collaborating in a fast-paced, remote-first environment
Nice to Have
- Experience with compliance platforms like Drata, Vanta, Secureframe, etc.
- Certifications such as PMP, CISA, CISSP, or other relevant credentials
- Previous experience in remote team management or cross-functional leadership
