Our client is an early stage, VC-backed, public benefit corporation committed to transforming mental health care through a precision-based approach to triage. They help individuals navigate the complex behavioral health landscape by connecting them to the right care at the right time, whether it be therapy, psychiatry, peer support, and/or other resources. Their model combines advanced technology (generative AI and machine learning) with trusted human relationships to prioritize clinical quality and patient experience, making effective mental healthcare more accessible to all. By partnering with payers, providers, employers, and health systems, we are building a scalable solution that will transform the mental health journey for millions.


Please Note: This role is on-site full-time (5 days a week).


The Opportunity

We are seeking a strategic, entrepreneurial Head of Partnerships & Commercial Growth to lead our go-to-market, sales, and partnership strategy. This role is central to driving enterprise adoption, building trusted relationships across the payer and provider ecosystem, and fueling revenue growth. You will also shape the narratives and marketing foundation that support these efforts.


This is a high-impact leadership position with the opportunity to grow into a VP-level role. It’s best suited for someone who thrives in fast-paced, zero-to-one startup environments and has a deep understanding of the healthcare and payer landscape.


Key Responsibilities

Partnership & Sales Leadership

  • Build and manage relationships with payers, providers, health systems, and employers to drive adoption and revenue growth.
  • Own the full commercial cycle from prospecting through contract execution, with support from the founding team.
  • Develop scalable partnership frameworks that position the company as a trusted mental health care solution.


Go-to-Market & Product Marketing

  • Lead the go-to-market strategy in alignment with sales priorities and enterprise growth goals.
  • Refine value proposition and craft compelling narratives, collateral, and presentations to support enterprise sales and partnership discussions.
  • Collaborate with product and clinical teams to ensure offerings meet payer and provider needs.


Brand & Market Positioning

  • Act as a thought leader and spokesperson, elevating visibility within the healthcare ecosystem through events, PR, and strategic communications.
  • Develop scalable marketing programs that reinforce brand positioning and generate inbound partnership opportunities.


Team & Growth

  • Build and scale a high-performing partnerships and marketing team.
  • Establish processes, playbooks, and metrics for sustainable commercial growth.


Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in partnerships, sales, or business development within digital health, healthcare, or payer/provider ecosystems.
  • Proven track record of building enterprise partnerships and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of payer dynamics and provider incentives.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills; able to craft and deliver compelling value stories.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment.
  • Based in Boston or open to relocation; strong familiarity with the local healthcare ecosystem is a plus.
  • Background in product marketing or growth marketing is a strong bonus.
