Job Title: Home Automation Engineer
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented
Home Automation Engineer with a minimum of
2 years of GCC experience. The successful candidate will have extensive expertise in
KNX, DALI, and smart building systems and will be responsible for managing system designs, technical documentation, authority approvals, and overseeing site installations. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to ensure projects are executed to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. System Design & Quotation
- Prepare detailed quotations based on project specifications and client requirements.
- Design automation layouts including KNX, DALI, GRMS, lighting control, and HVAC integration.
2. Drawing & Documentation
- Prepare and review 2D technical drawings and schematics.
- Coordinate with draftsmen to produce accurate 3D and as-built drawings.
- Manage documentation for approvals from authorities and developers.
3. Client & Consultant Coordination
- Attend client and consultant meetings to present technical solutions and project updates.
- Provide ongoing technical support to ensure all client requirements are met.
4. Site Supervision & Installation
- Conduct site inspections to monitor installations and ensure compliance with approved designs and safety standards.
- Supervise cabling, terminations, device integration, and commissioning activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve on-site technical issues efficiently.
5. Material & Procurement
- Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for automation devices, control panels, and cabling.
- Support the procurement process through technical evaluations and vendor coordination.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years GCC experience in home automation systems.
- Proven expertise in KNX, DALI, GRMS, and building automation technologies.
- Strong experience in preparing technical drawings, schematics, and project documentation.
- Hands-on experience in site supervision, installation, and commissioning.
- Valid driving license is preferred.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
