Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic Senior Director of Product Marketing to join our Marketing Department, with a focus on driving account-based marketing (ABM) strategies to enhance customer engagement and accelerate growth. The Senior Product Manager for the Marketing Department will play a pivotal role in developing and executing product strategies that align with our data center services portfolio. This role requires a deep understanding of account-based marketing (ABM) to drive targeted campaigns, enhance customer experiences, and support revenue growth. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between sales and marketing, ensuring our offerings meet the needs of high-value accounts in the data center services industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Positioning:
- Define and articulate the value proposition of data center services, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market trends.
- Develop product marketing strategies that highlight key differentiators for enterprise clients and high-value accounts.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth.
Account-Based Marketing (ABM):
- Design and execute ABM campaigns to target key accounts, collaborating with sales and marketing teams to personalize outreach.
- Leverage data-driven insights to segment accounts, tailor messaging, and optimize campaign performance.
- Track and measure ABM campaign success through KPIs such as engagement rates, pipeline growth, and conversion metrics.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross functional teams to ensure marketing strategies align with product roadmaps and technical capabilities.
- Partner with sales teams to provide enablement materials, including pitch decks, case studies, and solution briefs tailored for target accounts.
- Collaborate with content and digital marketing teams to create compelling collateral, such as white-papers, blogs, and webinars, that resonate with data center decision-makers.
Customer Insights & Advocacy:
- Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform product enhancements and marketing strategies.
- Act as a customer advocate, ensuring their needs and pain points are addressed in product offerings and marketing campaigns.
- Build strong relationships with key accounts to foster loyalty and drive long-term partnerships.
Performance Analysis & Reporting:
- Monitor and report on product performance, campaign effectiveness, and market trends to senior leadership.
- Utilize analytics tools (e.g., CRM platforms, marketing automation tools) to track campaign ROI and optimize ABM strategies.
- Provide actionable insights to refine marketing approaches andimprove customer acquisition and retention.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in product management, product marketing, or a related role, preferably in a professional services industry, data center services, cloud computing, or technology industry.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with account-based marketing (ABM), including campaign design, execution, and measurement.
- Strong understanding of data center services, including colocation, cloud connectivity, managed services, or hybrid IT solutions.
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and marketing.
- Proficiency with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot,) and CRM systems.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Analytical mindset with experience using data to drive decisions and optimize campaigns.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in B2B technology marketing, particularly in the data center or IT infrastructure sector.
- Familiarity with industry trends such as edge computing, AI-driven data centers, or sustainability in data center operations.
- Knowledge of digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, and social media, to support ABM initiatives.
