With Your IT Know-how, You Are The First Point Of Contact For The Department "RAV Actuarial Models & Functions". In This Context You Can Look Forward To The Following Tasks
Involvement in the project "Renovate the Core enterprise" to ensure the future-proof development of the current actuarial applications
You make architectonic and strategic decisions to ensure technical sustainability and scalability in the Hannover Re context
Developing and optimising ETL/ELT routines in the actuarial systems
Coordinating with internal and external customers over the further development of our current applications
Supporting and collaborating with internal colleagues in the area of Business Intelligence and Data Analytics
Attending events / conferences as well as preparing and holding internal events
You come equipped with
Completed degree in computer science / business IT or comparable qualification
At least 5 years of experience with Informatica PowerCenter, SQL, Exasol, and Oracle DBMS
In-depth experience with data warehousing, ETL/ELT routines and data modelling with Snowflake and/or Star Schema
Comprehensive know-how in the field of Business Intelligence
Solid experience with large projects and proven expertise in data warehousing best practices
Proficient user skills in German and English
Willingness to travel worldwide on business, roughly once or twice a year
Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset
