Role Overview

Our client is looking for a seasoned analytics leader to head it's global Product Analytics function. You will define the vision, scale a high-performing team, and ensure data-driven insights drive product strategy and business growth. This role requires a mix of technical depth, leadership excellence, and the ability to turn data into clear, actionable narratives for senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Growth

• Lead and expand the Product Analytics team across multiple domains and global locations.
• Hire, coach, and develop analysts into effective data storytellers who deliver actionable insights.
• Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and high performance.

Analytics Strategy & Execution

• Define and execute the analytics strategy, making data a competitive advantage.
• Partner with senior leadership to ensure analytics directly influence business and product direction.
• Manage project intake, prioritize initiatives, and allocate resources against strategic priorities.

Data-Driven Insights & Enablement

• Define and maintain critical business metrics to track performance and inform decisions.
• Design and run experiments, build dashboards, and create visualizations that communicate results at scale.
• Provide technical mentorship on advanced analytics and ensure high standards for data quality.
• Answer complex business questions with ad-hoc SQL queries to guide critical decisions.

Collaboration & Systems

• Partner with data engineering to build and maintain scalable ETLs, pipelines, and automations.
• Ensure robust, accurate, and low-latency reporting to support real-time decision-making.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to embed analytics into product planning and execution.

What We’re Looking For

Experience

• Advanced degree in a quantitative field (Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Data Science, Mathematics, or related).
• 8+ years of professional experience in analytics roles, preferably in technology.
• 3+ years of direct people management experience in building and scaling analytics teams.
• Proven track record leading cross-functional analytics initiatives with measurable business impact.
• Strong experience shipping and iterating on products using data-driven insights.

Technical Skills

• Advanced proficiency in SQL; strong skills in Python and/or R.
• Experience working with large, complex datasets.
• Expertise in building impactful dashboards and visualizations (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
• Familiarity with data pipelines, ETLs, and automation for scalable analytics.

Leadership & Soft Skills

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
• Strong project management and prioritization skills; able to deliver results end-to-end.
