About the Role:
James Search Group is partnering with this innovative fintech company to find a skilled Cloud Engineer with hands-on experience in one of the major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). This fully remote position offers the chance to contribute to the company’s cloud architecture, ensuring robust, efficient, and secure solutions for their payment infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud solutions for scalability, security, and performance.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and infrastructure as code (IaC) to streamline deployments.
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud-based systems, ensuring maximum uptime and reliability.
- Stay up-to-date with cloud technologies and best practices to continuously improve cloud architecture.
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure data protection and compliance with industry standards.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering or cloud infrastructure roles, with hands-on experience in at least one of the major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, networking, databases, and security best practices.
- Tools: Familiarity with IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation), CI/CD tools, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues and improve system reliability.
- Communication: Excellent collaboration and communication skills, particularly in remote teams.
- Certifications (Preferred): Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) are a plus.
