VP of Operations (Web3 / AI Infrastructure)

About the role

We are conducting a confidential search for an experienced operations leader on behalf of an early‑stage company working at the intersection of decentralized systems, AI, and Web3. The organisation is building foundational infrastructure used by AI applications and developer communities. Backed by leading investors, the company is supported by a top-tier team comprised of professionals from highly respected and influential projects that have shaped the Web3 and blockchain landscape.

This role reports to the Chief of Staff and supports their efforts while collaborating closely with the executive team, including the CEO and other senior leaders, to lead and encompass legal, finance, talent, and other operational functions, including executive operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of treasury operations and digital asset management.

What you’ll own

You will design, implement, and run core operational functions across:

Finance & Treasury

• Build budgeting, forecasting, and cash management practices
• Oversee treasury activity across fiat and digital asset flows and implement controls

Business & Corporate Operations

• Implement systems, tools, and workflows to enable consistent execution
• Manage vendor relationships and operational tooling across teams

Legal & Compliance

• Coordinate contract workflows and outside counsel engagements
• Support international entity administration and basic compliance efforts

Product & GTM Operations

• Partner with product and go‑to‑market teams to ensure operational readiness for launches
• Track key metrics and support cross‑team delivery processes

People & Talent

• Establish hiring and onboarding processes, performance frameworks, and contractor management
• Help scale a remote, distributed team and preserve operational clarity

Network & Ecosystem Operations

• Support frameworks for external participants and incentive programs at an operational level
• Assist coordination between internal teams and external ecosystem partners

About you

• 6+ years leading operations at fast-moving tech companies with strong experience in crypto, blockchain, or Web3 environments
• Proven experience building cross-functional systems across finance, legal, people, and product operations
• Comfortable with digital asset concepts and operational complexity in emerging-technology environments
• Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
• Pragmatic systems thinker who thrives in ambiguity and can move from strategy to execution
