This position is remote/hybrid available if within commuting distance to Boulder, CO) and open to candidates living in the Denver, CO metro or Houston, TX metro areas.

A Day in the Life:
- Design, build, and deploy AI agents capable of interacting with users, systems, and APIs
- Fine-tune large language models (LLMs) for domain-specific needs (e.g., auto insurance, home insurance)
- Develop and optimize machine learning models for classification, scoring, and predictive analytics
- Partner with product managers to translate business challenges into technical AI/ML solutions
- Implement evaluation pipelines to measure model performance and ensure reliability in production
- Automate workflows and processes using AI/ML solutions to improve scalability and efficiency
- Stay on top of the latest advancements in LLMs, generative AI, and agentic frameworks; propose practical applications for our products
- Ensure compliance with data security and privacy standards (GDPR, HIPAA, PII)
- This role requires flexibility to occasionally work during early morning hours to align with our development team based in India. The Product Manager will be expected to adapt their schedule when necessary to ensure effective collaboration and smooth communication with the offshore team.
Here’s what you need to get our attention:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in applied AI/ML engineering
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven track record building AI agents and/or conversational AI systems
- Experience fine-tuning and deploying LLMs (OpenAI, Llama or similar)
- Strong background in ML/DL frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
- Proficiency in Python and ML Ops pipelines (training, deployment, monitoring)
- Experience with process automation leveraging AI/ML models
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong prompt engineering skills to optimize LLM performance
- Experience designing and maintaining data pipelines, with strong SQL and data analysis skills
- Experience with API development and production system integrations
- Experience working within Agile Scrum teams, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and collaborative delivery.
- Experience building proof of concepts using AI coding tools such as codex or lovable.
- Bonus: background in digital marketing, ad tech, or martech.

Base Salary: $120,000–$135,000/year DOE +5% annual performance-based bonus
