REQUIREMENTS

• 10+ years of experience in information/application security
• Hands on development experience using any of the following - Java, C#, .NET, C++, Golang, Node)
• Extensive hands-on experience in software engineering, application security, and secure development practices
• In-depth understanding of modern security practices, including threat modeling, ShiftLeft, Zero-Trust, fraud protection
• Ability to provide consultative security and application work to larger organizations
• Strong experience with implementing security policies into application security environments, website/application facing

DESCRIPTION

As Principal Security Engineer, you’ll lead and scale security initiatives across the organization, serving as the technical authority on software security. You’ll architect and implement solutions that embed security into the systems from the ground up, conduct deep design reviews, and develop tools for automated testing and threat detection. Your work will span application security, threat modeling, and performance forecasting, directly influencing strategic decisions and enhancing the fan experience on a platform that supports real-time transactions. The platform handles high-demand ticket sales for some of the world's biggest events, making security both challenging and rewarding. This role combines hands-on technical work with consultative leadership and a mission to protect the integrity and trust of millions of users. The ideal person is one who has a proven track record of dealing with security for external facing websites and applications, dealing with large userbases and systems.
