The team you will be a part of
The Talent Acquisition team implements the organization's recruitment strategy so that job vacancies are quickly filled, new employees are smoothly integrated into the organization and the candidates selected best match the needs of the position and the business. Recruitment activities may include advertising, interviewing, testing, selecting candidates; checking references; negotiating employment offers; relocation; orientation and introductory training.
This Role In Summary
We are hiring an experienced Recruiter to support professional-level roles in our Corporate-based business groups. In this role, you will work closely with our Hiring Leaders to understand their talent requirements, develop sourcing strategies, and execute the recruiting initiatives required to fill open roles across multiple business functions.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Create and implement strategies to identify, curate, and recruit talent in relevant specialties to build talent pipelines for targeted passive and active recruiting initiatives
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to define search parameters, build sourcing strategies, and execute sourcing initiatives
- Provide recommendations to the TA team and hiring managers on sourcing strategies, talent market composition, diverse hiring pools/opportunities, and research strategies
- Deliver project status reports, talent market intelligence summaries, and pipeline reports as needed to support individual searches
- Capture and maintain robust candidate information in our CRM/ATS system
- Conduct initial candidate pre-qualification, including obtaining basic information about career goals, culture fit, relocation parameters, compensation, immigration status, etc.
- Build trusting relationships with talent communities and individual candidates, develop and execute talent community communication plans, and continue to build talent communities through compelling stories that accurately represent Whirlpool careers, potential growth, and unique characteristics that make Whirlpool a best-in-class employer
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- English - Advanced
- Spanish is a plus
Preferred Skills And Experiences
- Project experience building sourcing and search strategies in consultation with Leaders and Recruiters
- Experience with CRM tools and strong knowledge of Internet-based research tools
- Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities, multitask, and balance multiple timelines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to find and interpret talent market data and make clear, compelling presentations
