Azure AI Architect
Location: 100% Remote from Costa Rica or Mexico.

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Azure AI Architect to design, develop, and deploy AI solutions using Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Azure AI services, including Azure Machine Learning, Cognitive Services, and OpenAI integration. You will work closely with data scientists, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver intelligent solutions that drive innovation and efficiency. This role is critical for keeping our project moving forward as we build a Cloud/AI framework. The selected candidate will be 100% dedicated to a specific GenAI project team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement AI and machine learning models using Azure Machine Learning (AML).
- Develop intelligent applications using Azure Cognitive Services (e.g., Computer Vision, Text Analytics, Speech, Language).
- Build and deploy OpenAI models via Azure OpenAI Service for tasks such as natural language processing, summarization, and chatbots.
- Automate and monitor AI pipelines using Azure DevOps, Azure Data Factory, and ML Ops.
- Collaborate with data engineers to prepare and transform data using Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, or Databricks.
- Evaluate model performance, conduct A/B testing, and optimize for scalability and performance.
- Ensure solutions comply with security, privacy, and ethical AI guidelines.
- Develop and implement Azure Cloud solutions with a focus on Azure AI.
- Collaborate with the project team to build and enhance the Cloud/AI framework.
- Ensure the project meets deadlines and quality standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience building AI/ML solutions on Microsoft Azure.
- Strong understanding of the infrastructure, bicep coding, machine learning algorithms, deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
- Proficiency in Python, Azure SDKs, and relevant ML libraries (e.g., Scikit-learn, Pandas).
- Hands-on experience with Azure AI services, Azure ML Studio, and Azure Functions.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices for ML model deployment.
- Proven experience as an Azure Cloud Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of Azure AI.
- Experience with Machine Learning.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
