SUMMARY:

This role is responsible for optimizing cut-out and production strategies to drive sustainable profit for Tyson Foods' RVAP Poultry business. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in cut-out strategies, strong analytical capabilities, and a proven ability to manage and communicate parts and capacity utilization reporting. This position plays a critical role in aligning cross-functional teams around margin-accretive initiatives and will serve as the principal Project Manager for RVAP Poultry Margin Management activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute cut-out strategies to optimize product mix and profitability.
  • Manage ROS available inventory and utilization reporting, ensuring timely updates and clear communication across teams.
  • Partner with Brand Management to oversee product feasibility, development, inventory, fill-rate, packaging, distribution velocity, cost, and profitability.
  • Align product specifications with customer expectations and support packaging innovation and product reformulations.
  • Monitor resource utilization and identify solutions to maximize ROS.
  • Prepare and implement margin management strategies in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Support pricing strategy development and execution.
  • Coordinate new product launches and ensure alignment across departments.
  • Train internal and external personnel on margin management processes and tools.
  • Resolve product-related issues and customer complaints in partnership with Brand Management.
  • Supervise team members performing related tasks and ensure alignment with strategic goals.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA or Project Management experience preferred.
  • Experience: 7+ years in Poultry Processing or a closely related field preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in reporting tools; experience with Power BI Report Builder is a plus.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be able to present complex data clearly and persuasively.
  • Travel: 4–11 trips per year.
  • Supervisory: Responsible for managing personnel performing related tasks.
