About the Role

We are looking for experienced Terraform Engineers with strong expertise in CDK for Terraform (CDKTF) and Python development. In this role, you will architect, automate, and optimize cloud infrastructure by writing Python code that generates Terraform configurations. You’ll collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams to deliver modular, reusable, and scalable infrastructure solutions.

What You’ll Do (Day-to-Day)

  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using CDK for Terraform with Python.
  • Write reusable Python classes and constructs representing Terraform resources and modules.
  • Manage infrastructure lifecycle, state, and deployments via Terraform CLI and Terraform Cloud.
  • Automate provisioning and validation with Python scripts.
  • Debug, test, and validate infrastructure code to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on scalable and maintainable cloud infrastructure.
  • Keep clear, updated documentation for infrastructure components and deployments.

Requirements

  • 5+ years overall experience, with:
  • 4+ years in Python development (classes, scripting, automation).
  • 2+ years with Terraform.
  • 2+ years with CDK for Terraform (CDKTF).
  • Hands-on experience defining Terraform resources via Python constructs.
  • Strong knowledge of Terraform concepts: state, providers, modules.
  • Familiarity with Python virtual environments & dependency management (pip, venv).
  • Strong debugging and scripting skills.
  • Experience with Terraform CLI & Terraform Cloud.
