We are an early-stage startup focused on Logistics & Transportation. With a mission to redefine speed, efficiency, and customer experience in the logistics and grocery delivery space, we are building a scalable, tech-driven business model. We are seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology vision, infrastructure, and product roadmap.
Role Overview
The CTO will play a pivotal role in building and scaling our technology platform. This includes overseeing product development, infrastructure, security, and innovation. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in technology leadership, a passion for problem-solving, and the ability to align tech strategy with business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the company’s technology roadmap aligned with business objectives.
- Lead design, development, and deployment of the quick-commerce and logistics platform.
- Build and mentor a high-performing technology team.
- Establish robust technical infrastructure (backend, frontend, cloud, databases).
- Ensure system performance, uptime, and scalability.
- Implement best practices in data security, privacy, and compliance with Indian IT laws.
- Drive product innovation, including automation, analytics, and AI-based solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, logistics) to deliver business impact.
- Communicate technology milestones and risks transparently to the Board and investors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in senior technology leadership roles (preferably in logistics, quick commerce, or e-commerce).
- Proven track record in building and scaling technology products/platforms.
- Expertise in cloud technologies, databases, infrastructure, and product development.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in hiring and managing tech teams.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity, data protection, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
