Job Purpose
The Business Systems Director will play a critical role in driving the strategic direction and implementation of our business systems to support our company's growth and operational excellence. This role will serve as a transformation agent with a high sense of operational excellence an ever-improving business experience.
THIS IS A 100% REMOTE POSITION. **With up to 10% travel**

Responsibilities
Essential Duties:
- Leads the Technology Steering Committee to prioritize enterprise application initiatives.
- Provide direction and develop plans for the tactical and strategic integration of Enterprise Applications to allow the business to run more effectively.
- Provide leadership and direction to the IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Implement processes, techniques and tools that optimize the effectiveness of the team and result in quality deliverables.
- Demonstrate the kind of leadership that helps to ensure retention of existing employees while achieving high levels of productivity.
- Evaluate performance and completion of initiatives including performance of the project team members.
- Manages the use of external resources as needed for project implementations and systems maintenance/upgrades.
- Provide technology solutions that improve the quality and efficiency of existing business processes and tools.
- Lead the analysis, design, development, and implementation of enhancements and customizations for enterprise applications.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define solutions, and prioritize development efforts.
- Ensure adherence to best practices, standards, and guidelines for application development and integration.
- Develops and maintains project plans for assigned projects involving multiple resources and/or systems.
- Works with project teams to make or review decisions for design, technology and workflow alternatives to ensure technical and/or business requirements are met in the most efficient and productive manner.
- Analyze business requirements in order to contribute to technology design and enhancement of products.
- Oversee the day-to-day support and maintenance of enterprise applications, ensuring the availability, reliability, and performance of critical systems.
- Manage incident and problem resolution processes, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors as needed.
- Implement monitoring and alerting mechanisms to proactively identify and address issues before they impact users.

- Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers, including software vendors, consultants, and support providers.
- Negotiate contracts, review service level agreements (SLAs), and monitor vendor performance to ensure compliance with agreements and standards.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and optimization of enterprise application support processes.
- Implement tools and methodologies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and user satisfaction.
- Foster a culture of innovation and learning within the enterprise application support team.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: - Highschool Diploma or equivalent
- 10+ years relevant experience to include:
- Enterprise application support roles, with demonstrated success in managing analysis, development, production support, maintenance, and projects.
- Strong application background in ERP systems, CRM systems, and HR systems (like Oracle ERP, Oracle CX, UKG)
- Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
- Solid understanding of ITSM
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and a variety of office equipment.
