About The Role
The Technical Lead - Spec role at Kimberly-Clark is a pivotal position designed for a seasoned full-stack developer with a strong focus on cloud-based generative AI and agentic workflows. This role involves advancing or devising new products, components, systems, and technologies that enhance the company’s innovative offerings. The successful candidate will be responsible for building scalable, high-performance front-end and back-end systems that integrate cutting-edge AI capabilities, including GenAI and multi-agent orchestration. They will work closely with AI researchers and cross-functional teams to develop APIs, user interfaces, and real-time data processing solutions that support autonomous agent behaviors, reasoning flows, and tool access. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical skills, experience, and soft skills that align with the company's innovative environment:
- Minimum of 7+ years of full-stack development experience with a focus on cloud technologies and services.
- Hands-on experience with generative AI using cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and Next.js for front-end development.
- Strong expertise in React for UI development.
- Solid programming skills in Python and experience with FastAPI for REST API development.
- Experience with open-source frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or CrewAI.
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases for data management.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and best practices for continuous integration and deployment.
- Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills.
Nice-to-have qualifications include experience with Node.js, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud-native DevOps practices, agentic orchestration, prompt chaining, latency tuning, and working with vector databases like Pinecone, FAISS, Chroma, or Weaviate.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain front-end components using React, TypeScript, and Next.js that seamlessly integrate with back-end services.
- Build robust, scalable APIs utilizing Node.js, Python, and FastAPI to support GenAI-powered interactions, real-time data processing, and agent communication.
- Create intuitive user interfaces for autonomous agents, enabling dynamic tool access, reasoning flows, and autonomous behaviors.
- Integrate various AI frameworks and services, including LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, Azure AI Foundry/Services, Hugging Face, and vector databases.
- Design and implement real-time APIs using REST and GraphQL for low-latency agent interactions, tool execution, and memory management.
- Deploy, monitor, and scale AI services using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines, adhering to MLOps best practices.
- Collaborate with AI research teams on multi-agent orchestration experiments to enhance system capabilities.
- Document technical specifications, processes, and workflows to ensure clarity and knowledge sharing across teams.
- Stay updated with emerging AI technologies and frameworks, exploring new agent frameworks and latency optimization techniques.
