Position: Senior Compensation Operations Analyst

Location: open to fully remote.

Department: Total Rewards Center of Excellence

Reports to: Director, Global Compensation


About the Role:

  • We are seeking a Senior Compensation Operations Analyst to join our Total Rewards Center of Excellence.
  • This is a position that provides critical support for the organization’s compensation functions.
  • The role will involve working closely with the compensation team to ensure smooth execution of compensation programs and supporting the development and improvement of compensation processes and systems.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational analysis and support to the broad-based compensation team to help achieve departmental goals.
  • Assist in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of compensation infrastructure to streamline program cycles and ensure competitive market analysis.
  • Collaborate with HR and cross-functional teams to optimize processes, ensuring data integrity across compensation-related systems.
  • Work with Total Rewards teams and other HR functions (HR Operations, HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, T&OD) to resolve compensation-related queries and issues.


Specific Duties:

  • Monitor and respond to queries from the ServiceNow/AskHR portal, escalating and resolving issues with the Compensation/TR teams as needed.
  • Maintain survey match data for Sr Director-level and below roles and input participation data for surveys.
  • Respond to employee inquiries about salary ranges, partnering with Compensation Partners to provide accurate information.
  • Support the job requisition process by ensuring compensation data is complete and assist Compensation Partners in creating new job data elements when necessary.
  • Provide Workday HCM support, including creating/editing job profiles, adding salary ranges, preparing EIB templates, and other related tasks.
  • Assist with monthly reporting, including bonus accruals and other compensation reporting requirements.
  • Support the implementation and operationalization of new compensation programs, technologies, and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with governmental reporting and recordkeeping requirements for compensation programs.
  • Assist with vendor and consulting management for the Compensation team, ensuring timely invoice submissions and the creation of new purchase orders as needed.
  • Contribute to Workday HCM enhancements and implementations.
  • Support additional Compensation projects as needed.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a related compensation or HR field.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Workday, particularly with Compensation modules.
  • Strong MS Excel skills, including data analysis and formula-based calculations.
  • Intermediate proficiency with MS Word and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of compensation fundamentals (e.g., job matching, market pricing, survey benchmarking, compensation cycles, regulatory reporting).
  • Experience with compensation market survey platforms.
  • Knowledge of current and upcoming regulatory requirements related to compensation.
