As a Front-End Engineer At LS, You Will
- Architect and design new front-end solutions.
- Guide the technical direction for the user interface.
- Deliver new functionalities and features.
- Play a key role in migrating existing features from legacy code to a new solution.
- Collaborate closely with the product team to ensure specifications and requirements are always clear and fully address the problem.
- Build a performant and flexible UI.
- Write cohesive, maintainable, and testable code.
- Champion product quality from the start of the development process to the final delivery to users.
- Work with our architect to develop the best possible solutions and mechanisms.
- Promote knowledge of best practices for building web applications.
We are looking for someone who:
- Understands the importance of analyzing and comprehending a problem.
- Grasps the necessity of sound architecture.
- Values good technical documentation.
- Is comfortable suggesting product changes or different technical approaches.
- Prefers not to cut corners but knows when it's appropriate to take a shortcut and when it's absolutely not.
- Understands the purpose of software development processes and can help build them.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of commercial experience building large-scale or enterprise-level web applications.
- Practical proficiency in TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience creating UIs using React.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests.
- Practical knowledge of design patterns and architectures (e.g., Clean Architecture).
- Experience with performance optimization processes for front-end solutions.
Nice to Have:
- Experience writing end-to-end tests with Playwright.
- Fluency with Tailwind CSS.
- Experience with MobX for state management.
- Experience working with contracts in the OpenAPI specification.
- Familiarity with back-end technologies (e.g., PHP, NodeJS).
- Experience designing large-scale applications from scratch.
- Experience working with AWS services (e.g., AppConfig, API Gateway, S3, Cognito).
