About Sherlock
Sherlock is the leading security partner for Web3 protocols. Our mission is to make crypto safe enough for billions of people to trust with their savings.
We go beyond traditional audits with a model that combines collaborative reviews, global researcher contests, live bug bounties, and post-launch coverage. Sherlock is the only auditor that stands behind its work with financial protection, covering up to hundreds of thousands of dollars in the first month after launch.
Top teams, including the Ethereum Foundation, Aave, Optimism, and MakerDAO trust Sherlock to protect their code. Backed by world-class investors such as Alliance, Archetype, IDEO, CoinFund, Lattice, Spartan, and A Capital, Sherlock is building the security layer for the future of decentralized finance.
Your Role
Ensure our protocol clients achieve maximum value from Sherlock’s security services and maintain long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships. You don’t need to be a smart contract auditor to succeed here — but you do need to communicate clearly, think cross-functionally, and run complex engagements with discipline.
What You’ll Do
- Own onboarding and guide clients through audits, fix reviews, coverage activation, and ongoing bounties.
- Translate technical details into business impact and keep every stakeholder aligned with proactive, plain-English communication.
- Manage timelines, enforce SLAs, and remove blockers quickly to ensure smooth delivery.
- Build structured account plans: stakeholder maps, success criteria, comms cadence, and opportunities for expansion.
- Run Executive Reviews, capture feedback, and convert successful outcomes into references, case studies, and playbooks.
- Partner closely with BD, Marketing, and Research to keep the entire Sherlock team aligned and to surface client insights back into the business.
Requirements
- 4–8+ years in client success, account management, consulting, or technical program management (services or complex B2B preferred).
- Demonstrated ownership of multi-stakeholder programs with tight timelines.
- Tooling literacy: CRM + project tracker (HubSpot/Salesforce; Notion/Asana/Jira), basic analytics hygiene.
- Time-zone flexibility for a global client base.
Nice to have
- Crypto/DeFi familiarity, smart-contract security exposure, or adjacent experience in fintech/infrastructure are seen as a major plus.
- Prior work turning delivery into public wins (case studies, conference talks, co-marketing).
What’s in it for you
- Competitive base salary (fiat or crypto) with equity/tokens and full benefits.
- Fully remote with flexible hours and time-off policy.
- Coworking stipend if you prefer a shared workspace.
- Comprehensive healthcare, including dental.
- Global offsites each year in destinations like Thailand, Colombia, and Portugal.
- Direct access to founders and root visibility into company decisions.
- A fast-moving, elite team where your work shapes the future of Web3 security.
Sherlock’s Culture
Sherlock is fast-moving, intense, and built for people who want to perform at the highest level. It isn’t the right environment for everyone — and that’s by design.
We succeed because we:
- Stay mission-focused, building security for an open financial system and ignoring distractions.
- Work long, hard, and smart, thinking from first principles and weighing every tradeoff.
- Act with owner mentality, treating every detail like it matters.
- Embrace a builder mindset, rolling up our sleeves instead of sitting on the sidelines.
- Put the customer first, seeing problems from their perspective and fixing what isn’t clear.
- Operate with a professional athlete mentality, where high standards are rewarded and mediocrity doesn’t last.
- Value directness and transparency, giving and receiving feedback openly to move in the right direction fast.
