Location: Fully Remote (UK-based)

Contract: Fixed-term (maternity cover)

Hours: Full-time or Part-time from December 2025

BMI Publishing is looking for a talented Graphic Designer to join our creative team on a maternity cover contract. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the visual identity of our core titles — Onboard Hospitality, Selling Travel, and The Business Travel Magazine — along with our associated websites, newsletters, events, and destination guides.

We’re looking for someone with an eye for detail, a strong sense of layout and typography, and the ability to adapt design styles to suit a range of audiences and platforms. You’ll be working closely with our editorial, marketing, and events teams to deliver engaging, on-brand creative across print and digital channels — all from the comfort of your home.

What you’ll be doing:

·      Designing layouts and artwork for our magazines and publications.

·      Creating digital assets for websites, newsletters, and social media.

·      Producing graphics and materials to support our events and destination guides.

·      Ensuring brand consistency across all channels.

·      Managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

What we’re looking for:

·      Proven design experience, ideally in publishing or media.

·      Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).

·      Confidence working across both print and digital formats.

·      Creative flair combined with a practical, organised approach.

·      Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote team – therefore, experience using Microsoft Teams and Google docs.

·      Experience in video editing and motion graphics is helpful.
