Responsibilities
- Create high-quality frame-by-frame rotoscope animation for a short film sequence (1–2 minutes)
- Interpret live-action footage and translate it into expressive, fluid animation
- Collaborate with the project owner to refine the visual style and meet creative objectives
- Manage workflow efficiently to meet agreed-upon deadlines
- Communicate progress and address feedback promptly throughout the project
Skills and Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in rotoscoping and 2D animation techniques
- Proficiency with industry-standard animation software (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Toon Boom, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to capture realistic movement and expression
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting
- Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration
- Availability to estimate and commit to project timelines
- Prior experience with short film or personal creative projects is a plus
