We as the Partner Platform Business Analytics Engineering team connect our stakeholders to the data landscape of Zalando from a partner program perspective. Working closely together with partner consultants, commercial and operational teams & analysts, data teams in- and outside of the partner program, it is your mission to create data and reporting products that will enable our stakeholders to monitor and improve internal processes and drive our partners' success on Zalando's ecommerce platform. Leveraging our enterprise reporting solution MicroStrategy alongside technologies such as Starburst, Airflow, Databricks and Redshift, you will be responsible for developing and improving the data landscape, data governance, data pipelines, and reporting landscape for our department.

What We'd Love You To Do (and Love Doing)
Business
- You identify data requirements and translate them into functional requirements for data engineers following best practices, and develop new data products acting as the data steward for core data domains
- You support the design, data modeling, maintenance, and stewardship of key data layers and metrics together with our engineering and product teams
- You enable our teams to generate insights from data and use it for steering and decision making
Data Enablement & Governance
- You design data pipelines to integrate datasets in our existing reporting landscape and enable seamless reporting workflows
- You educate end users and data professionals on key data topics, including new datasets, data modeling best practices, reporting principles, and the broader data landscape
- You act as a champion for scalable and efficient data practices, balancing business needs with long-term platform sustainability
WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF...
- A degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, Data Analytics or similar areas
- Proven track record of >3 years experience in Business Intelligence or Business Analytics in an enterprise environment
- Good understanding of data warehousing and analytical methods (e.g. databases and data structures, descriptive and diagnostic data analysis)
- Solid knowledge of SQL and data modeling
- Excellent root cause analysis and data related problem-solving skills are your strengths
- You are a driver for change and enthusiastic about data, people and processes
- Good project management and stakeholder management skills
- Exposure to MicroStrategy, Databricks and Apache Airflow and data integration is a strong plus
