Company: General Genomics, Inc. (GGI) – A Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) specializing in AI/ML infrastructure for commercial and federal clients. Through GGAI (Fed/Gov) LLC, we deliver secure CI/CD and DevOps pipelines to power bioscience and defense solutions.

Location: Fort Worth, TX (Hybrid; potential full remote after 180 days)

Employment Type: Full-Time (Immediate start available; contingent upon award of commercial or government contract)

Overview

Design and manage CI/CD and DevOps pipelines to support secure, scalable AI/ML deployments integrated with Data Lakes/Warehouses. Your infrastructure will enable rapid model deployment and 99.9% uptime for mission-critical federal and bioscience projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop automated CI/CD pipelines, reducing deployment time by 30%.
• Manage Kubernetes-based infrastructure for ML workloads, supporting 100+ models annually.
• Monitor system performance with tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana), ensuring 99.9% uptime.
• Ensure compliance with NIST 800-53 and FedRAMP for secure Data Lake integrations.
• Support data engineering for TB to PB datasets in secure environments.

Required Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen with active DoD, IC, or DHS clearance, or eligibility to obtain/maintain one.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or 10+ years of equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of DevOps engineering experience.
• 5+ years of Linux system administration in production environments.
• Hands-on experience with bare metal orchestration and configuration (e.g., PXE boot, MAAS, Foreman, or similar).
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized workloads.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience deploying ML models (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) in production.
• Knowledge of data engineering in secure federal environments.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK Stack).
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional.
• HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate or Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
• Proficiency with Linux system administration and shell scripting.
• Experience optimizing performance and troubleshooting issues in Linux-based production environments.
