An experienced
Global Payroll Administrator will be responsible for local payroll processes and will be assisting with other group international payrolls. The Payroll Specialist's duties will include managing of employee data, ensuring the accuracy of payroll data, calculating salaries and all related employment allowances/deductions in a timely and accurate manner.
Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end payroll operations using xPayroll (Microsoft Business Central) software.
- Communicate with HR to gather monthly salary changes, bonuses, promotions, benefits in kind, and any other payroll-impacting changes
- Liaise with external payroll providers to provide complete and timely monthly payroll data for jurisdictions other than Cyprus,
- Collaborate on payroll-related audits, financial reconciliations, and internal process
- improvements
- Gather employees' reimbursement/advance requests upon approval to be included to the payroll calculations
- Confirm accuracy of payroll data provided based on employment documents and company's payroll guidelines in different jurisdictions
- Resolve employee queries regarding payslips and other payroll issues
- Prepare and post payroll journals in Navision accounting software(Microsoft Business Central)
- Issue tax forms and related documentation
- Process social insurance and PAYE payments online
- Ensure payroll is calculated accurately and timely on a monthly basis based on predetermined yearly calendar,
- Provide monthly assistance to ensure all group balance sheets are completed accurately and have no unreconciled payroll matters
- Support accounting function with monthly closing/ expense recording
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a similar or related position
- Understanding of international (including Cyprus) payroll standards and procedures
- Computer literacy and confidence using Excel sheets
- Fluency in English
- Self-motivation and management skills to meet deadlines
- Initiative and ambition to develop professionally
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and strong numeracy skills
- Working knowledge of payroll software
- Ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Good interpersonal skills
- Degree in business administration, accounting, or finance
