Leading financial services and investment management firm seeks a skilled and strategic Fraud Strategy Manager to join our team in a high-level individual contributor role. This position is ideal for a seasoned fraud analytics professional who is a subject matter expert in risk management and fraud prevention.


You’ll lead the development of advanced fraud mitigation strategies leveraging insights from machine learning, predictive analytics, and big data tools. Your insights will directly influence enterprise-level decisions and help shape the future of fraud prevention.


Position is hybrid in the Philadelphia area (preferred) or Phoenix, AZ. Relocation assistance is offered if needed.


What You’ll Do

  • Lead development of fraud strategies in fraud prevention systems
  • Independently design and optimize fraud prevention systems using structured and unstructured data
  • Apply statistical modeling, time-series analysis, and machine learning to detect and prevent fraud
  • Own governance frameworks, data architecture, and vendor relationships supporting fraud analytics
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights for senior leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and continuously improve fraud detection capabilities


REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in fraud strategy, risk analytics, or fraud data science within the financial services industry
  • Deep knowledge of statistical methods, including classical statistics, probability theory, econometrics, and time-series analysis.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction. Working knowledge of Python, SAS, Hive, Spark, AWS Sagemaker
  • Track record of making strategic business recommendations based on analytic insights
  • Proven ability to work independently and influence strategic outcomes as a subject matter expert
