We are currently hiring on behalf of a Toulouse-based SaaS company for a Product Marketing Manager to strengthen the current team and grow the national market.
This company offers a web-based SaaS application founded in 2018 in Toulouse. Originally started as a side project to find a meeting point between two cities, it quickly pivoted to B2B following strong interest from BNP Paribas. The solution helps businesses grow using geodata, through a Product-Led Growth approach.
Today, it is widely adopted by small businesses, SMBs, networks, and large enterprises, with a strong footprint in the franchise market and ongoing expansion in the UK and the US.
Missions:
Market analysis & customer understanding
- Identify, understand, and model our target customers by defining personas based on data, interviews, and field feedback.
- Conduct continuous competitive monitoring to identify trends, benchmark market offerings, and anticipate changes.
Positioning & messaging
- Define and refine product positioning in line with persona needs and Smappen’s differentiation.
- Build clear, consistent, and distinctive messaging and storytelling tailored to each customer segment.
- Contribute to the pricing strategy based on customer feedback, perceived value, competition, and business goals.
Go-to-Market & feature launches
- Design and lead product launch plans: GTM strategy, targeting, channels, messaging, content, and coordination with stakeholders (marketing, product, sales, CSM…).
- Develop internal resources to help teams better understand the product, audience, and messaging.
Product collaboration & customer feedback
- Act as the voice of our target personas in product decisions: share market and customer insights with the Product team to inform the roadmap.
- Participate in prioritization by balancing market opportunities and user needs.
Performance tracking & optimization
- Define key KPIs for PMM actions, monitor performance, analyze results, and continuously improve campaigns and launches.

Profile we’re looking for:
Key requirements:
- Fluent English – 50% of clients are English-speaking
- Experience in both market analysis and go-to-market – must be autonomous in both
- Background in SaaS
Bonus points:
- Experience in B2B
- Knowledge of the North American market
- Fluency in a third language
- Experience selling to SMB
You have at least 3 years of experience in strategy or business development, ideally in a B2B SaaS environment. You’re confident leading complex market analysis, building GTM strategies end-to-end, and engaging with international stakeholders. Familiarity with the North American market or SMB segment is a strong plus.
