Mid - Senior Front-End Developer (react experience) in BELGIUM

Position: Mid - Senior Front-End Developer (react experience)

Location: Ghent, Belgium

FULL ONSITE

Type of Contract: Permanent Contract preferably

Languages: Dutch or French (Native/Bilingual), English (Full Professional Proficiency)

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly front-end applications. You will collaborate closely with designers, back-end developers, and product stakeholders to deliver seamless user experiences.

Required Experience & Skills:

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Experience: At least 3 years of professional experience in React (and/or React Native) development.

Strong expertise in:

• React, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, TailwindCSS
• React Query, React Testing Library, Cypress
• NX (monorepo management)

Hands-on exposure to:

• Expo, Storybook, Figma
• Continuous deployment and integration using Git/GitHub Actions
• Nice to have: Experience with Microsoft Azure.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance front-end applications using React (and React Native where applicable).
• Implement responsive and modern UI designs using TailwindCSS and CSS best practices.
• Collaborate with designers using tools such as Figma to translate prototypes into production-ready code.
• Ensure code quality through testing frameworks (React Testing Library, Cypress) and documentation.
• Work in a monorepo environment (NX) and leverage tools like Storybook for UI component development.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and version control workflows (Git, GitHub Actions).
• Participate in code reviews, provide mentorship to peers, and uphold best practices in front-end development.
