Role Summary

Gradence is seeking a full-time Data Analyst to join our growing team. This role is ideal for ambitious professionals in Bangalore who want to apply their analytical expertise to solve real-world business challenges while working in a fully remote, global-first environment.


As a Data Analyst at Gradence, you will work with diverse datasets, generate actionable insights, and support consulting and strategy projects that directly contribute to our mission of helping people achieve professional excellence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and manage structured and unstructured datasets from multiple sources.
  • Use SQL, Python, and Excel to analyse and interpret data for business insights.
  • Apply statistical techniques to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and automated reports using BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Collaborate with consultants and business teams to provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Support predictive analytics and data modelling projects to guide strategic initiatives.
  • Document findings clearly and present results to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Contribute to building a strong data-first culture within Gradence.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data visualisation.
  • Solid working knowledge of SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Experience in cleaning, preparing, and handling complex datasets.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Knowledge of predictive analytics, regression modelling, or machine learning.
  • Prior work experience in analytics, consulting, or business strategy.
  • Understanding of data pipelines, ETL processes, and database management.
