Key Responsibilities- Perform pre-migration tasks including BOM verification, device relocation, unboxing, DOA checks, and asset labeling.
- Assist with Cisco IOS upgrades and basic device configuration (console cable & laptop required).
- Rack and install network switches, wireless access points, and related equipment.
- Carry out migration activities such as:
- Installing switches in correct rack/RU positions.
- Labeling and replacing patch cords as per port mapping sheets.
- Installing uplink cables and ensuring proper labeling at both ends.
- Removing legacy devices/WAPs and replacing them with Cisco devices.
- Supporting problem determination during migration windows.
- Complete post-migration tasks including boxing legacy equipment, relocating to storage, and documenting quality assurance reports.
Requirements- Hands-on experience with Cisco networking equipment (switches, WAPs, IOS upgrades).
- Proficiency in using network tools: console cables, label printers, drill machine, screwdriver kits, etc.
- Ability to work in shifts (day/night/weekend) as scheduled by the project coordinator.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in network environments.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Shift DetailsShift Information- Multiple engineers will be involved in this project.
- Each engineer will be assigned to one or more shifts by the Project Coordinator.
- Shift timings include both day and night work across the migration window:
Pre-staging shifts (09:00–17:00, Oct 29–30)
Migration Team A/B/C shifts (18:00–02:00, 02:00–10:00, 10:00–18:00 on Oct 31–Nov 2)
