We are currently expanding our team and are seeking a Junior level Full Stack .NET Web Developer to support existing government business web applications utilizing a technology stack of a Vue JS front end client, C# .NET Core 7.0 Web APIs, and Microsoft SQL Server stored procedures for the database layer. This position will also provide production support for an older technology stack of C# .NET Framework 4.8 Web Forms with jQuery and Microsoft SQL Server. This position is fully remote.
Duties
- Development tools used include Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, SQL Enterprise Manager and GIT. Development methodology follows agile scrum-like processes.
- Highly desired technical skills include modern JavaScript framework, C#, and SQL language experience.
- Highly desired professional skills include excellent communication skills, strong analytical skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team in an agile scrum-like development cycle. Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented and ability to multi-task.
Required Experience
- At least one (1) year of experience in project support.
Required Education
Allowable Substitution
- A) An AS or AA degree and three (3) years of experience that matches the experience/training requirement for this
position may be substituted for a BS or BA degree; or
B) Five (5) years of experience that matches the experience/training requirement for this position may be
substituted for a BS or BA degree.
Desired Experience/Education
- Experience with software development utilizing C#, a modern JavaScript framework, and a SQL database.
- IT degree, or certificate of completion from a coding bootcamp program.
- Professional certifications (MCSD, etc.) desired.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
