About The Role
The Human Resources Coordinator at Pacific Health Group is a vital member of our HR team, responsible for supporting a broad spectrum of HR functions to ensure smooth and compliant operations. This full-time, remote position reports directly to the Human Resources Manager and plays a key role in onboarding new employees, maintaining personnel records, assisting with recruitment processes, and supporting benefits administration. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Previous experience in HR coordination, administrative support, or related roles is a plus
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), preferably Paycom
- Knowledge of federal and California labor laws and HR best practices
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting
Responsibilities
- Coordinate job postings, review resumes, and schedule interviews in collaboration with hiring managers and the HR team
- Maintain accurate recruitment tracking logs and assist with updating records in the ATS (Paycom)
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including scheduling orientations, tracking document completion, and maintaining employee files
- Ensure employee records are accurate, complete, and compliant with applicable laws and regulations
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments, answering employee questions, and escalating complex issues to the HR Manager
- Provide administrative support to the HR team, such as scheduling meetings, tracking training completion, and preparing reports
- Coordinate HR initiatives including employee engagement events, training sessions, and performance review cycles
- Monitor the HR inbox, respond professionally to employee inquiries, and ensure timely communication
- Support compliance efforts and assist in maintaining HR policies and procedures
