The Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to provide technical leadership and hands-on development for our growing portfolio of web and mobile applications. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a startup environment and wants to make a significant impact while mentoring a talented but developing team.
Responsibilities
Technical Leadership (50%)
• Lead and mentor a team of 3-5 developers across multiple projects
• Conduct code reviews and ensure best coding practices are followed
• Create development roadmaps and manage technical deliverables
• Take ownership of product quality - nothing ships without your approval
• Coordinate between team members to ensure smooth project flow
Hands-on Development (50%)
• Architect and implement full-stack solutions
• Debug and optimize existing codebases
• Set up and maintain AWS infrastructure
• Develop APIs and integrate third-party services
• Ensure mobile and web applications meet quality standards
Requirements
• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong leadership experience with proven ability to manage developers
• Expertise in full-stack development (React/React Native, Node.js, AWS)
• Exceptional attention to detail and quality standards
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Available for full-time commitment
Nice to Have:
• Experience with startup environments
• Background in mobile app development
• Knowledge of Python and web scraping
• Experience with prototyping tools
• Previous work with international teams
