As Head of Artificial Intelligence at IgniteTech, you will architect the future of enterprise software, applying cutting-edge GenAI capabilities across diverse products that serve thousands of businesses worldwide. Your vision and execution will determine how an entire software portfolio evolves in the age of artificial intelligence.
What You Will Be Doing
- Architect AI Opportunity Matrices that strategically rank customer problems by AI feasibility, business value, and risk—creating the definitive roadmap for our GenAI transformation
- Design comprehensive AI-Enhanced Product Roadmaps that sequence the evolution of 100+ products from current state to AI-enabled futures with measurable success metrics
- Develop precise AI Feature Requirements that translate advanced capabilities into detailed user stories with performance benchmarks and appropriate safety guardrails
- Conduct Customer AI Readiness Assessments to identify adoption barriers and create enablement strategies that accelerate successful implementation
What You Won’t Be Doing
- Navigating bureaucratic processes or enduring micromanagement that constrains your strategic vision and execution
- Making isolated technical decisions without alignment to customer needs or company strategy
- Focusing on theoretical AI applications without clear paths to production implementation
- Managing incremental feature improvements that don't leverage the transformative potential of GenAI
Head Of Artificial Intelligence Key Responsibilities
- Drive measurable business impact by integrating Generative AI functionalities across our entire product portfolio to substantially increase customer engagement, retention, and competitive advantage
Basic Requirements
- Proven track record of shipping at least 2 production-grade products or major features with AI/ML as core components
- Demonstrated experience managing the complete product lifecycle for AI-enabled solutions—from concept development through scaled deployment
- Established history of successful collaboration with data science and ML engineering teams in a product leadership capacity

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $200 USD/hour, which equates to $400,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
