Relocation to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (Relocation assistance available for Indonesian candidates).
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our client's global team and be part of their tech hub in Malaysia.
Your Scope.
Lead and manage the operations of large-scale distributed systems to ensuring the seamless management of critical incidents.
Provide creative solutions to complex problems and removing obstacles.
Take charge of incident management, implementing automated solutions for efficient incident resolution within assigned clusters.
Elevate the reliability of products and services by conducting in-depth post-incident analyses and reducing operational burdens.
Champion automation initiatives to streamline repetitive tasks across various toolsets.
Establish and maintain SLOs and SLIs to ensure high reliability standards.
Mentor and guide a team of SREs, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
You Bring.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Min. of 8 years of experience in SRE/DevOps, with at least 3 years in a lead or senior role.
Excellent communication skills in English, with strong problem-solving, customer-centric, and critical thinking abilities.
Technicals.
Strong understanding of Linux, scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.)
Experience with infrastructure automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, etc.)
Experience with monitoring systems (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.) is a plus.
