The selected candidate will be a part of the System Test team who will be developing, dry running, and executing automated and manual test procedures to verify requirements at various levels. This position is located located in San Diego, CA. The responsibilities of this position include (but are not limited to) the following: Program Execution Responsibilities: * Oversee the execution of IFC efforts in a highly dynamic lab environment.
- Manage a team of System Test engineers, providing System Test process guidance during all phases of integration, procedure development, dry runs and formal execution.
- Work in a high energy environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative team settings across all levels.
- Lead System Test team in developing robust nominal & off-nominal software test procedures.
- Work in Agile Scrum teams during all phases of Test.
- Lead IFC execution and delegation of tasks.
- Review System Test deliverables during procedure release cycles.
- Prepare and brief burn up plans during all phases of Test, but especially during Formal execution.
- Attend daily and weekly IFC management and customer meetings, representing the System Test Software Engineering Lab (SEL) team.
- Brief test planning and execution status at internal and external test status meetings, ensuring Program information is flowed down to all team members.
- Collaborate with other disciplines, including but not limited to, IFC management, Systems Engineering, Mission Assurance, and other program IPT's to ensure that the System Test lifecycle is accomplished with high quality and efficiency.
- Responsible for baselining each contract option year and time-phasing based on received Budget Advice and associated TAs
- Manage & report budget and schedule status for System Test appointed networks.
- Support coordination and content for program monthly EAC reviews.
- Identify and manage risks and opportunities.
- Review Change Requests, as required, and provide impacts to IFC management
- Manage asset utilization for IFC-specific asset, deconflicting between internal System Test and Lab Ops teams, Cyber, and MS IPT.
- Support the development and bidding of new proposals and contract work to support future efforts and capabilities Functional Manager responsibilities include working closely with the Systems Test Engineering Department Manager and fellow section managers to implement department and center initiatives, ensuring successful planning and execution of program test engineering activities, collaborating with programs to satisfy staffing needs and provide operations support (incident investigations, metrics collection and analysis, etc.), setting Workday goals and providing regular performance feedback to 10-15 employees, supporting the annual salary review and promotion process, mentoring and developing the next generation of technical leadership, and improving and implementing test engineering processes and procedures. Basic Qualifications: * Must have a Bachelor's of Science degree in a STEM discipline AND 9 years of related professional industry experience OR a Master's degree of Science in a STEM discipline and 7 years of related professional industry experience OR 5 years with PhD

- CAM (Control Account Manager) / Work Package manager knowledge
- Must have an active Top Secret Clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain special Program Access (PAR) as determined by the company to meet its business needs. Preferred Qualifications: * Detail oriented, organized, and able to learn challenging concepts quickly in a dynamic environment

- 5+ years of professional experience in a test role
- Experience with IBM Rational tool suite (DOORS) and Atlassian tool suite (JIRA, Git, Confluence)
- Experience using software test automation tools/frameworks
- Experience with Windows/Linux operating systems & Virtual Machines (VMs)
- Master's degree in engineering or management
- Experience as a CAM/Work Package manager, writing VAR's, CH1-19, and managing EP forecast
- Proven Leadership Skills Primary Level Salary Range: $156,500.00 - $234,700.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
