Description
SA local healthcare client is seeking Sr. Azure DevOps/Cloud Engineer to support the infrastructure and pipeline development of a comprehensive Health Data Platform. This platform serves as the foundation for numerous strategic initiatives, and the selected engineer will play a critical role in ensuring its scalability, reliability, and performance. The DevOps team works in close collaboration with the Data Engineering team, which is responsible for ingesting data into the Microsoft Fabric platform. Together, these teams enable the seamless integration and management of healthcare data, driving innovation and supporting a wide range of downstream projects.
DevOps Engineering
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform; Writing Terraform modules
Still developing Microsoft Fabric integration
- CI/CD: Azure DevOps; Built from scratch; Pipeline creation
- Cloud Infrastructure: (Sr. Cloud Engineer); Azure Stack (core Azure tools and services)
EntraID groups, Cluster/Spot Cluster setup, Workspace automation (Hub model),
Many tasks still manual (Automation will be KEY)
DevOps Role General Expectations
- General Background building Hybrid-Cloud Infrastructure in support of large Data Platforms or Ingestion of Data
- Experience with:
- Terraform module development
- Azure DevOps pipelines
- Azure resource provisioning
- Familiarity with:
- Microsoft Fabric
- Automation of workspace and cluster setup
- Scripting
- PowerShell or Python
- needs to be good w/ at least 1 Object Orientated Programming Languages for the purpose of Automation, Scripting and Tool building

The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $110.00/hr.
