Who We’re Looking For:
A Senior Network & Cloud Security Architect to join our client’s team on a long-term contract. While this role is 100% Remote, candidates must reside in Wisconsin.
Required Skills (4+ years of experience)
- Design, build, support, and secure on-premises and cloud hosting environments.
- Configure and manage WAN/LAN networks, including QoS, NAT, routing, split tunneling, static routes, EIGRP, DMVPN, and 802.1x.
- Configure, manage, and support firewalls, including clusters, router-based firewalls, and VPN concentrators.
- Monitor and analyze network performance (uptime, latency, throughput) to identify trends and recommend improvements for performance, scalability, and security.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud and on-premises authentication, single sign-on (SSO), and role-based security configurations.
- Knowledge of CJIS compliance requirements.
- Experience in data security, governance, and user training.
- Experience with automating technical and business processes.
Position Summary
This role will:
- Design, implement, and maintain the technology infrastructure.
- Develop frameworks for information systems, security, and application delivery.
- Gather and evaluate user and process requirements to ensure solutions meet organizational needs.
- Monitor industry trends and assess applicability to the environment.
- Analyze and test systems to meet operational standards for performance, reliability, security, and scalability.
- Maintain clear, accessible documentation for networks and systems to support ongoing operations and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate closely with team members, partners, and stakeholders to provide technical guidance and resolve escalated issues.
Key Responsibilities
Designing and Planning
- Develop approved sensitive data storage solutions (local and cloud-based) that meet compliance requirements for data in transit, at rest, and in access controls.
- Plan multi-site network infrastructure changes to improve bandwidth and security posture, incorporating feedback from relevant teams.
Execution and Installation
- Implement network infrastructure upgrades, including hardware specifications, configurations, and secure system connectivity.
- Conduct testing to confirm that changes meet business and compliance requirements.
Operations and Support
- Monitor network performance and reliability, analyzing data to recommend service improvements.
- Provide expert support for escalated service requests, ensuring timely communication and resolution tracking.
Security
- Evaluate cybersecurity solutions regularly to ensure configurations remain current and effective.
- Configure, support, and test systems handling sensitive data to ensure compliance with applicable security standards and encryption requirements.

Codeworks, LLC discloses that the anticipated hourly pay range for this position starts at $50/hr. This range is subject to change based on job-related factors, including client requirements where applicable.
