Project Coordinator Intern

Schedule:
Monday through Friday.
Work hours will depend on the business hours of the time zone serviced.
To the extent permitted by law, the Company may, in its sole discretion, change the work schedule to address business needs.
In This Role, You Will:
Join the Central Operations Strategy team and work alongside the Telephony Product Owner to support projects from planning through delivery. You will help coordinate tasks, document requirements and workflows, conduct research, and contribute to testing and stakeholder communications. This internship offers hands-on exposure to business analysis and project coordination while building skills in cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities and Essential Duties:
- Support project coordination activities to help ensure timely delivery, clear communication, and alignment with scope and priorities.
- Conduct research on industry practices, competitor approaches, and operational trends to support decision-making.
- Gather, document, and maintain business requirements, business rules, and process flows.
- Create and update journey maps for customer and agent experiences, highlighting areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain testing plans; support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), log issues, and track resolution.
- Prepare project updates, stakeholder communications, and visual materials that clearly convey progress and outcomes.
- Collaborate with Operations, IT, and Telecom teams to collect inputs and validate documentation accuracy.
- Track and report on project milestones, deliverables, and key decisions.
- Organize feedback from stakeholders to support process improvement initiatives.
- Gain exposure to core business analysis and project management practices through shadowing and hands-on contributions.
- May perform additional functions or project-related activities depending on market demand and staffing in order to provide consistent quality customer service.
Required Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program pursuing a degree in Business, Communications, Project Management, User Experience, or a related field.
- Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize findings into clear recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to adapt content for different audiences.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Problem-solving mindset with curiosity to learn and improve.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Coursework or experience in business analysis, process mapping, or project coordination.
- Familiarity with journey mapping techniques and requirements gathering methods.
- Previous internship or part-time work experience in a professional or team-based setting.
- Familiarity with diagramming tools.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for extended periods; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to move about. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty (20) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Compensation: Hourly Rate (commensurate with experience)
