Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze data from various sources, including network performance, customer, and financial data.
- Utilize statistical models, data mining, and machine learning techniques to extract insights and identify patterns.
- Develop predictive models to understand customer behavior, predict churn, and optimize network performance. Work closely with network engineering, product development, and marketing to integrate data-driven insights into business operations.
- Identify areas for improvement in customer experience, network performance, and business operations through data analysis. Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders effectively.
- Stay updated with new technologies and techniques in data science and apply them to solve business problems.
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency, and implement appropriate data governance and security measures.
- Develop and maintain data infrastructure, including data pipelines, databases, and data visualization tools.
- Travel and relocation possible to unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S. Domestic travel required approximately once a month to client sites.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation of a Software Engineer, Database Administrator, Linux Administrator or equivalent. Prior experience must include 2 years of experience with:
- Working in the telecommunications domain
- Applying statistical analysis and data mining techniques to analyze data
- Using statistical programming languages like Python and R
- Applying machine learning algorithms and techniques to develop predictive models
- Gathering, cleaning, and preprocessing data from various sources and performing data governance
- Maintaining databases, including SQL and NoSQL databases
- Leveraging data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar to communicate insights effectively
- Developing models to predict customer behavior and optimize network performance
- Travel and relocation possible to unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S. Domestic travel required approximately once a month to client sites.
