EC-Council Global Services (EGS) is the enterprise cybersecurity advisory division of EC-Council, a world leader in cybersecurity certification and training. EGS delivers consulting and advisory services across penetration testing, red teaming, security operations, governance risk & compliance (GRC), and cyber strategy. We work with Fortune 500 enterprises, governments, and critical infrastructure providers to strengthen resilience against advanced threats.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a Business Head to lead, scale, and globalize our cybersecurity services business from Kuala Lumpur. This role is equivalent to a Managing Director, with full responsibility for driving growth, managing operations, and ensuring delivery excellence across international clients. It is a career-defining opportunity to build a world-class consulting practice within one of the most respected brands in cybersecurity.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and expand EGS’s cybersecurity services portfolio (Penetration Testing, SOC Services, GRC, Cyber Advisory).
• Build a global delivery hub out of Kuala Lumpur, serving clients across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and North America.
• Partner with global sales and marketing teams to drive business development, proposals, and enterprise account growth.
• Develop and mentor a team of consultants, ethical hackers, and cybersecurity advisors.
• Ensure operational excellence, resource allocation, and quality delivery at scale.
• Represent EGS at client boardrooms, industry events, and regulatory forums as a senior thought leader.
• Collaborate with EC-Council’s global leadership to align services with training and certification offerings.
What We’re Looking For
• 15+ years of experience in cybersecurity services, with at least 7 years in senior leadership.
• Proven track record of building and scaling consulting/advisory businesses with P&L responsibility.
• Expertise in penetration testing, SOC operations, red teaming, incident response, and GRC frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, PCI DSS, etc.).
• Strong business development background, able to partner with sales teams and engage C-suite clients.
• Leadership experience across multi-country delivery teams, ideally with exposure to Southeast Asia, India, and global markets.
• Previous experience at Big 4 consulting firms, MSSPs, or leading cybersecurity specialist consultancies is highly desirable.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to innovate, scale, and create impact within a global organization.
