Job Description
Summary
Lead the global strategy, integration, deployment, and security of a global manufacturing company's IT systems, networks, and data. Partner with leadership to align IS initiatives with business goals, foster innovation, manage resources, and ensure effective cybersecurity and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct global IT infrastructure including servers, PCs, cloud systems, networks, cybersecurity, ERP, and O365.
- Identify and implement new technologies to enhance performance and align with business goals.
- Manage global IS budgets and CapEx, ensuring cost-efficiency and sound investment through analysis and justification.
- Develop policies and training to minimize security risks. Stay current on cybersecurity trends and tools.
- Lead the development of comprehensive recovery plans.
- Set objectives, coach teams, ensure alignment, and manage performance, hiring, and development of IS staff.
- Guide development of internal applications, business intelligence, CRM, and ERP strategy in partnership with key leaders.
- Engage with executives and departments globally to ensure IT solutions meet evolving needs and deliver value.
- Ensure adherence to global data protection regulations and ISO standards. Collaborate with legal teams as needed.
- Approve and manage IS projects, ensuring on-time, within-scope delivery using best practices and effective cross-team communication.
- Foster a values-driven, inclusive, ethical, and professional work environment that supports empowerment and performance.
- Monitor policies, procedures, and operations for effectiveness and compliance; take corrective actions where needed.
- Promote clear communication, strong team collaboration, and a customer-focused approach across the organization.
Qualifications
- 15+ years in IT with 10+ years in leadership within a global manufacturing environment.
- Strong expertise in ERP deployment, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and IT business systems.
- Proven ability to lead global teams, manage budgets, and align IT with organizational strategy.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- ERP implementation experience
- Budget/CapEx management.
- Willingness to travel up to 20%.
