You’ll join a startup-style unit within the company, focused on delivering next-gen IoT-powered, data-driven services.
With over 1 million IoT devices deployed globally, this team plays a critical role in transforming massive data volumes into actionable insights. We're seeking a Danish-speaking Data Engineer ready to work in a fast-paced, agile environment — and build something that truly scales 🌍.
🔧 What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain data pipelines that handle hourly batch data from a vast IoT device network
- Work in Azure and Databricks to create scalable, high-performance cloud data infrastructure
- Collaborate closely with Data Scientists, QA, Product Managers & Engineers in agile 2-week sprints
- Contribute to architecture, ensuring top-notch data quality, performance, and reliability
- Help transition from external consultants to an internal, capability-driven data team
- Operate autonomously in a flat, startup-like structure
👨💻 You Bring
- Fluency in Danish (spoken & written)
- Living in Denmark (visa transfers possible; no relocation from abroad)
- Proven experience with Azure Data Services and Databricks
- Strong ETL pipeline skills for batch data processing
- A scale-up/startup mindset — proactive, self-driven, and ownership-focused
- Experience in agile development environments
📍 Working Setup
- Hybrid: Tuesdays onsite required, ideally 2–3 days/week
- Office in Baltorpvej (approx. 20 mins from central Copenhagen)
- Flat structure, high autonomy, quick decision-making
