Job Title: Application Developer (Power Platform, Azure, AI)

Job Location: Washington D.C. or Rockville, Maryland (Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite per week)

Mode of Interview: Online via Google Meet / Microsoft Teams (2 rounds)

Client: ASSYST’s clients (D.C. or Maryland)

Relocation: Open to candidates from other states willing to relocate

Visa: USC & GC

Key Skills Required - Must Have

• Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps)

• CoPilot Studio

• Azure Cloud & Azure Data Services (Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, ETL tools)

• AI experience with at least one (GPT-4, Gemini, Grok, or OpenAI)

• Python for scripting, data manipulation, and API integration

• .NET (preferred, but not mandatory)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable applications using .NET framework and modern practices.

• Build/manage cloud-based data pipelines, storage solutions, and analytics platforms using Azure Data Services and ETL tools.

• Automate workflows and integrations using Python and Power Platform.

• Apply Data Science methodologies to extract insights and build predictive models.

• Design/implement AI-powered applications and chatbot integrations with CoPilot Studio & Microsoft AI.

• Translate business requirements into robust, maintainable technical solutions.

• Ensure best practices in security, performance, and maintainability.

• Contribute to Agile development processes and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (or related field).

• 5+ years’ experience in cloud application development.

• Strong proficiency in Azure Data Services (Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, ETL tools).

• Hands-on with Power Platform & CoPilot Studio.

• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts, NLP frameworks, and Data Science methodologies.

• Python experience for automation, data manipulation, and API integrations.

• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud security standards.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in agile teams.
