As Business Analyst in the Customer Care Analytics team, you will shape customer experience and management decisions via statistically solid deep dive investigations as well as the creation, visualisation, and interpretation of our KPI landscape. Thus, you have a direct impact in the achievement of the strategic objectives of Zalando. You will be a member in a team of 5 analysts with a high focus on knowledge sharing and mutual development.

WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED



  • You create an impactful understanding of trends, drivers, and causations through the application of statistical methods on relevant business challenges (e.g. exploratory and confirmatory analysis on drivers of customer satisfaction).
  • You communicate complex insights to analyst peers as well as to non-analysts in a stakeholder oriented way (e.g. analysis paper, presentations, dashboards).
  • You support strategic projects and initiatives (such as driving customer experience and efficiency through automations in contact handling) as a crucial project member by owning KPI related work streams and ensure high quality insights.
  • You support management decisions through the definition, visualisation, and interpretation of impactful KPIs.
  • You proactively connect to the Zalando’s Analytics Community through knowledge and experience sharing.



WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR



  • University degree (Master, PhD or similar) in business, economics, mathematics, statistics, engineering or a comparable field of study
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in Analytics, Research, Controlling, Consulting or a similar role, preferably in a customer service or eCommerce organization
  • Enthusiastic about data and strong analytical capabilities including a broad experience in the application of statistical methods on business challenges. Work experience with data warehouses. Applicable knowledge in SQL and Python (or R). Experience with Microstrategy is a plus.
  • Feel comfortable working together in different setups and enjoy taking responsibility for your remit. Be results-driven and always have our customers’ best interests in mind
  • Good communication skills, able to present data to stakeholders in a clear and concise way. Business fluency in English is a must.
