We are seeking a Manual QA Tester to ensure the quality, functionality, and performance of our mobile games and applications. You will develop and execute comprehensive test plans, document and track bugs, and collaborate closely with development and product teams to deliver flawless user experiences.
This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and a passion for gaming and sports. You will play a pivotal role in validating gameplay mechanics, user flows, and live data integrations, ensuring consistency across multiple devices and platforms.
Job Highlights
- Hourly Rate: The equivalent of $10.0 USD per hour in the applicant’s local currency
- Number of Paid Hours Per Week: 20 hours per week
- Schedule: Must be available during UK working hours (9 AM – 5 PM GMT)

Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an “Independent Contractor,” the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test plans and test cases for new features and existing products.
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing on mobile applications and games.
- Identify, document, and track software bugs using bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Linea), with clear and reproducible steps.
- Verify bug fixes and ensure new features align with design and product requirements.
- Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers throughout the development lifecycle, providing constructive feedback.
- Test and validate game components, including live data feeds, authentication flows (SSO), gameplay mechanics, and in-game achievements.
- Ensure consistent, high-quality user experiences across iOS and Android platforms.
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of professional experience in manual QA, ideally in mobile or gaming.
- Proven experience developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and QA methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with bug-tracking and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with both iOS and Android ecosystems.
Desirable Skills (Bonus Points)
- Experience with automated testing tools.
- Strong passion for sports (NBA, NFL, NHL preferred).
- Experience with API testing.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
