This role will be primarily focused on Intercom administration, ensuring our teams get the most out of the platform, while also supporting cross-functional projects where Salesforce skills (or the desire to develop them) play a role. The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of Intercom configuration, be eager to optimize processes, and have (or be motivated to build) Salesforce administrative skills.

What You’ll Do

• Own Intercom administration: user management, permissions, automation, workflows, tagging, and integrations.
• Partner with CSX teams to ensure Intercom is set up to drive customer engagement and operational efficiency.
• Configure and optimize chatbots, campaigns, and conversation workflows.
• Triage and manage incoming platform requests, resolving issues or escalating as needed.
• Maintain data integrity and monitor sync between Intercom and connected platforms (Salesforce, marketing automation tools, etc.).
• Support Salesforce-related projects (with mentorship and training if needed) such as:
• Enhancing Flows, validation rules, reports, and dashboards.
• Assisting with user setup, security, and license management.
• Document system processes, changes, and best practices.
• Continuously look for ways to scale processes and improve user experience across systems.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of hands-on experience administering Intercom (or similar customer engagement platforms).
• Strong understanding of Intercom configuration tools, automation, and best practices.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or a strong interest in learning Salesforce Administration (training and mentorship will be provided).
• Experience with related SaaS applications such as Outreach, LeanData, Marketo, or similar tools is a plus.
• Detail-oriented, documentation-focused, and committed to seeing tasks through to completion.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, integrated environment and asking the “why” to deliver thoughtful solutions.
