Senior/Lead Android Developer (Remote)

This role involves leading modern Android development, mentoring engineers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable applications.

Your tasks on the position:

• Defining and evolving the Android technical vision in alignment with product and platform goals
• Leading the adoption of modern Android development practices (Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, modularization)
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable mobile architecture for high-traffic applications
• Mentoring Android engineers, fostering technical growth and sharing knowledge across teams
• Contributing hands-on to critical features and architectural foundations
• Guiding CI/CD integration, automated testing, and monitoring for production reliability
• Taking ownership of incident management and production issues, ensuring system resilience
  
  

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience in Android development
• 2+ years in a leadership role
• Expert-level proficiency in Kotlin, Android SDK, and Jetpack Compose
• Proven experience designing and scaling large production applications with millions of users
• Strong knowledge of mobile architecture principles, clean code, and design pattern
• Experience leading teams, setting technical direction, and mentoring engineers
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, testing strategies, and mobile DevOps practices
• Deep knowledge of REST/GraphQL APIs, third-party integrations, and app security
