Job Title: Excel Data Analyst

Location: Remote (open to candidates in the Philippines, Ethiopia, or South Africa)

Job Type: Full-time, Independent Contractor

Hours: 35 hours/week (Work hours aligned with Paris, France time zone)


About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Excel Data Analyst with 1–3 years of experience to join our client. This role will focus on supporting internal data workflows by handling data sourcing, formatting, uploading, and analysis tasks using advanced Excel techniques. You will collaborate with an English-speaking team and work remotely, following Paris time zone hours.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Making a source list - Create a list of sources pertinent to the project which will be the base for the dataset creation
  • Manage Auth0 accesses - Be in charge of adding the new users to the platform, granting them access through the Auth0 tool
  • Create an input file to generate images and descriptions / images selection - Manual creation of an excel file with input for descriptions and images generation through our LLM
  • Create zip file for images - Manual creation of a zip file with all the images to be uploaded in the platform.
  • Run the metrics on the platform - Manual creation of excel input files for all the metrics that we need to run on our internal platform.
  • Consolidating everything in a clean file - Hygiene consolidation of excel files and data analysis for internal purposes.
  • Launching the data sourcing in the internal platform - Triggering our proprietary process of sourcing, scraping and refining a final dataset through our internal platform.
  • Upload the masterfiles on the platform - Manual and periodic upload of all the final files in the client platform to update data and images.


Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of experience in a data analyst, operations, or similar role
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including:
  • Pivot tables
  • VLOOKUP and other advanced lookup formulas
  • IF statements, conditional formatting, and data cleaning techniques
  • Ability to manage repetitive and detail-heavy tasks with a high level of accuracy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Comfortable working independently and in a fully remote environment
  • Ability to work 35 hours per week aligned with Paris (CET/CEST) time zone
