PHP Developer – Remote. Real Systems. Real Engineering.
This isn’t an “agile team” posting for a CRUD app.
It’s not about “fast-paced environments” or “wearing many hats.”
We won’t ask you to join standups led by people who don’t know how to git merge.
You won’t hear about “velocity” or “story points.”
And no one’s going to write “please fix” in your pull request without explaining why.
We’re iNET — a team of engineers building real, large-scale web systems from the ground up.
We started in Latvia, now work globally, and don’t really care where you live — as long as you show up, speak up, and write good software.
We don’t do hierarchy here. There’s no “management layer.”
Our CEO will review your code, and you’re expected to review his. He might say “this is not good,” and explain why. You’re expected to do the same — regardless of titles or tenure.
What matters here is clarity of thought, precision in code, and the ability to explain your reasoning.
If you think something is wrong — say so.
If you have half an idea — share it.
If you see a better path — take the whiteboard.
That’s how we get better.
You’ll work on our internal modular platform — a system designed to let us build products quickly by composing back-end functionality like Lego.
The platform powers products like:
All of this is built in PHP using Laravel as the foundation, and we're extending the architecture from there — heavily customised and modular. We rely on well-structured MySQL, Redis, containerised workflows, and strict internal standards for how components talk to each other.
You’ll work in a small group, own real features end-to-end, and be trusted to ship code that stays in production for years.
Bonus points if you’ve worked in event-driven systems, built internal tooling, or fought (and won) against legacy codebases.
This isn’t a job for everyone. But if it sounds like the kind of team you’ve been hoping to find — email us, message us, or send a repo you’re proud of.
Let’s talk like humans, not resumes.
