We don’t do hierarchy here. There’s no “management layer.”

Our CEO will review your code, and you’re expected to review his. He might say “this is not good,” and explain why. You’re expected to do the same — regardless of titles or tenure.

What matters here is clarity of thought, precision in code, and the ability to explain your reasoning.

If you think something is wrong — say so.

If you have half an idea — share it.

If you see a better path — take the whiteboard.

That’s how we get better.

You’ll work on our internal modular platform — a system designed to let us build products quickly by composing back-end functionality like Lego.

The platform powers products like:

• Credit engines
• Origination workflows
• Payment scheduling
• Document generation pipelines
• Multi-tenant user interfaces with feature-level permissions

All of this is built in PHP using Laravel as the foundation, and we're extending the architecture from there — heavily customised and modular. We rely on well-structured MySQL, Redis, containerised workflows, and strict internal standards for how components talk to each other.

You’ll work in a small group, own real features end-to-end, and be trusted to ship code that stays in production for years.

• Write PHP like an engineer, not a script-kid
• Understand MySQL beyond just ->get()
• Care about naming, interfaces, and structure
• Can explain the tradeoffs in your code
• Don’t need someone to tell you what to do next
• Have at least 3 years of building backends people actually used

Bonus points if you’ve worked in event-driven systems, built internal tooling, or fought (and won) against legacy codebases.

• A technical team that speaks your language
• No Jira theatre or “please update the ticket” overhead
• Full remote — we don’t care where you work from
• A say in what gets built and how
• A real path to grow into lead or architect roles — if that’s what you want
